Where I contributed
My volunteer involvement took place in the YMCA’s rock climbing setting. It is a distinct part of my YMCA experience, alongside my membership in the Leaders Club.

01 / MY EXPERIENCE
Where I contributed.
In eighth grade, I volunteered with rock climbing at the YMCA. It was an opportunity to contribute in an active, community-oriented setting and forms part of my volunteer experience before high school.
Part of a broader commitment
I also received the Presidential Volunteer Service Award in eighth grade, reflecting my community service during that period. My involvement continued through the YMCA and, later, hospital volunteering.
02 / THE WIDER PICTURE
Part of my
community involvement.
Service and athletics are both important parts of my life. Rock climbing volunteering brings those interests into the same community setting.
